Job description

Responsibility

  • Researching and identifying new product opportunities based on market trends, customer demands, and brand positioning
  • Collaborating with the design team to develop product concepts, ensuring they align with the brand's aesthetic and target audience
  • Conducting cost analysis and budgeting for new product development, ensuring profitability and feasibility
  • Managing the product development timeline, including sample production, testing, and finalization
  • Coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery of products
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop product launch strategies and promotional materials
  • Analyzing sales and customer feedback to evaluate the success of new products and make improvements for future development
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and consumer preferences to stay ahead in the market

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Fashion and Textiles or related or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of working experience in fashion field
  • Solid understanding of the fashion industry and product development processes
  • Strong project management skills, negotiation abilities and a keen eye for fashion trends
  • Being detail-oriented, creative, and adaptable
  • Have curiosity to learn, proactive, and take new challenges
  • A problem solver, able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with others
  • Good command of English & Mandarin
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Product Development Manager or Assistant Product Development Manager
