Job descriptionReview MEP design drawings, specifications, and technical documents for compliance with client requirements and local regulations. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. Chair MEP coordination meetings and workshops. Manage procurement processes for MEP packages, including tender evaluation, subcontractor selection, and negotiation. Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines. Administer contracts, variations, and claims related to MEP works. Ensure all MEP installations comply with Hong Kong building codes, safety standards (e.g., FSD, EMSD), and environmental regulations. Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular site inspections. Lead testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams on MEP-related matters. Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to senior management. Lead and mentor a team of MEP engineers, supervisors, and technicians. Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP project management, preferably within Hong Kong’s construction industry. Proven experience managing MEP systems for large-scale projects (e.g., high-rise buildings, hospitals, data centers, commercial complexes). Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks), MS Project, and AutoCAD. In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong MEP standards, codes, and regulations. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated MEP Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for large-scale construction projects in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in MEP systems, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects from conception to completion.
