Description

The Jockey Club Centre for Osteoporosis Care and Control ( / ) under the Faculty of Medicine is looking for several full-time / part-time Junior Research Assistants to assist in several research and community project(s) on bone health education and fracture prevention for the elderly.

  • Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education, with 5 passes in HKCEE (including Chinese & English syllabus B) OR a combination of 5 HKDSE subjects of Level 2 in NSS subjects;
  • Attained" in ApL subjects & Grade E in other Language subjects; (ii) good interpersonal and communication skills; (iii) a self-motivated, well-organised, co-operative and responsible work attitude;

iv) the ability to work independently, patience in dealing with people consistently and good attentiveness to details; and (v) a good knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office.

  • The appointee(s) will (a) assist in conducting subject pre-screenings, interviews or measurements following standard protocol;
  • b) assist in planning and conducting participant recruitment events; (c) actively participate in data collection, data cleaning and other related research work duties as assigned under defined instructions;

and (d) provide effective support for the daily operation of the project implementation, ensuring the timely achievement of project objectives.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
