Who we're looking for

WeLab is looking for an Chief Product Officer to join the team!

Your goal will be to cultivate and build a product-led culture and organization with a strong focus on solving customer problems through a unique and clear value proposition.

You will be responsible for ensuring best practices in product management and development are implemented across the entire organization such as customer-centric product design and strategic experimentation.

You will be expected to enhance and solidify our product know-how across our various entities to ensure we consistently leverage on our competitive advantages.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that WeLab is at the forefront of technology by being in tune with the latest and newest technologies that are applicable to the business.

What you will be doing

Work closely with senior stakeholders as well as all product teams to :

• Realize WeLab’s vision of building and launching the best fintech products with superior user experience, making product WeLab’s competitive advantage (a true product-led organization)
• Oversee entire product organization to ensure executional excellence across internal teams, including engineers, designers, marketers, customer service, etc.
• Advocate and implement customer-centric discovery methods in order to design and build problem-centric products that aim to solve big and necessary user problems
• Formulate overall WeLab product strategy and roadmap and work with each business to effectively deliver according to the overall strategy, while establishing metrics-driven framework to evaluate measurable objectives.
• Build, lead, manage and mentor product or other related teams to design and deliver products that empower customers on their financial journey
• Drive strategy and execution in a data-informed way, knowing how to balance and holistically tie customer-level, product-level and business-level metrics all together in accordance with each business’ North Star metric
• Enhance product growth and product-market fit for all WeLab products, including working closely with growth and marketing on product launches, evaluating product performance, and product expansion into new markets
• Have the foresight to formulate the technical vision and development of WeLab products for the next 5 years, but also have the ability to execute on short term initiatives
• Build, implement and cultivate strong product culture and best practices instill habit of rapid and continuous testing and learning, continuous innovation and collaboration, effective product and design reviews and other product-related processes and procedures
• Spearhead and implement initiatives that allow for better, more-informed, data-driven decision making across the entire organization
• Identify and implement new technologies and drive innovative ideas and solutions that will enhance WeLab’s products or operations
• Identify synergies across all WeLab businesses whether it’s standardizing technologies across markets, sharing customer insights or go-to-market strategies for other products
• Painstakingly in-tune with the latest tech and product trends and developments around the world and constantly aware of new, innovative business models

Who you are

About you :

• You're a go-getter with mad juggling skills (or multiple hats) who can thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
• You have a strong thirst for knowledge and are driven to find solutions that don't exist yet
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and extremely resourceful (in your past life you could've been a detective)
• You always find a way to get things done without sacrificing the quality of your work, integrity and values. No task is off limits for you

• You don't shy away from challenges and have the ability to bounce back from setbacks

What is required and what we’re looking for

10+ years of product management experience and experience in managing teams of product managers, designers and engineer.

Previous experience in financial services / fintech products a plus

• Experience driving multiple product initiatives simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams, ideating, building and optimizing digital products.
• Get a thrill out of tackling complicated and sometimes unexpected product and business problems
• Strong eagerness to both lead and build
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
