Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology Assistant Computer Officer
Applicants will have the opportunity to drive the advancement of AI technology and develop cutting-edge solutions in the medical fields. The primary responsibility will involve exploring and implementing advanced techniques to enhance and optimise large language models, utilising frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow and computer program languages like Python & R.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) conducting clinical trials and analysing data; (b) manipulating medical images; and (c) engaging in other research and technical activities as assigned.
Applicants should be / have (i) a Bachelor's degree or above in Biomedical Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines; (ii) strong proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; (iii) the ability to document project plans and reports effectively; (iv) knowledge and experience in unsupervised deep learning model; (v) experience in implementing unsupervised deep learning model; (vi) solid understanding of deep learning concepts, architectures, and training techniques; (vii) proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with scientific computing libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas) for data manipulation and analysis; (viii) experience in programming for statistics especially in R; and (ix) able to use Javascript and Vuejs framework.
Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
