Part-time (Daytime) Lecturer (Pharmacy)(O / CW-HLS / PTD_L(Pharm) / 09 / 25)

Major Duties

a) To perform teaching duties including delivery of lectures, tutorials, seminars and practical sessions, setting and marking students’ assessments and other academic activities; (b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; (c) To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; (d) To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and (e) To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. Requirement s : (a) A relevant recognised degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; (b) Candidates should be the Registered Pharmacist and holding valid practising certificate; (c) At least 3 years’ full-time hospital pharmacy and aseptic dispensing experience; (d) Preferably with relevant teaching experience; (e) Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and (f) Good records of linkage with the industry or with solid work experience would be an advantage. Notes : (1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. (2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. (3) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / or outside campus.
