Responsibilities :
- Oversee the entire quantity surveying process for civil engineering projects.
- Experienced in negotiating contracts for renting or purchasing Civil heavy machinery.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis throughout the project lifecycle, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements relevant to civil works.
- Collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to optimise costs and ensure project delivery
- Facilitate meetings and discussions to resolve any issues related to costs and contracts
- Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates specifically tailored for civil projects, contributing to financial sustainability.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors in the civil engineering sector to secure favourable terms and compliance with project requirements.
- Measure and value sub-contracts and assist in agreement of the sub-contract interim / final accounts
- Review documentations and identify value variations, subcontract payments and preparation of the sub-contract liabilities
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.MRICS or HKIS professional qualification will be an advantageA minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong emphasis on civil engineering projects.Experience with NEC Contracts is a significant advantage in handling civil works.Good commercial and contractual acumenStrong negotiation and communication skillsProficient in both written and spoken English and ChineseApply methods :
