Responsibilities
- To expand transaction business in Hong Kong in other regions related to Hong Kong customers.
- To achieve transaction business targets by
1) promoting transaction banking products to customers, including handling certain customers or business cases independently when requested.
2) activating usage of fund transfer service of SMAR&TS to obtain transactions, supporting customers including on system aspect.
To assist in implementation of new services, changes and enhancements.To provide customer support for transaction banking products.Achieve business targets for transaction banking, including increase of customer number, transaction number / volume, etc. with the emphasis on shifting transactions and profit from liquidity and FX from competitors to SMBC.Execute marketing promotion actions for transaction business, as an associate to other marketing staff’s promotion plan or as an independent project officer or person-in-charge for certain customers and / or products.Maintain good communication with other departments, especially front office department and operations, for better implementation / support of transaction banking services.Provide customer support such as system set up and maintenance for SMAR&TS, IMAGINE, Cheque printing service, and other transaction banking services.Complete any task related to compliance matter (HKMA and internal policies) independently with little guidance.Make CMS transaction report and other business reports, and maintain customer data.Requirements :
Experience with proven knowledge in banking business.Proficient knowledge of transaction banking business and its related service and tools.Good interpersonal and communication skill.Independence and organization skill.Need to propose the staff's own ideas on how to promote transaction banking business and make the staff's own judgment taking into account all available information about a customer from various aspects.Need to make and execute plans for assigned tasks related to customer support, transaction banking promotion, and service implementation.
