Senior Manager, Charities (Engagement)

The Department

The job holder will support the organisation of the Trust's signature events and engagement initiatives to reinforce the Club and its Charities Trust's image, profile and thought leadership both locally and internationally, and gain stronger public profile and reputation as the biggest community benefactor in Hong Kong. He / She will collaborate with multiple divisions of the Club and multiple external stakeholders such as NGOs, academic partners, charity foundations and qovernment etc.

The Job

You will

• Support the planning and organisation of the Trust's signature events (e.g. Scholarship Dinner, Community Trophy Race Day and Philanthropy for Better Cities Forum)
• Proactively coordinate with external agencies and internal units for all matters in relation to the management of charities events, including event production and logistics, guest invitation and management, publicity etc
• Plan and implement stakeholder engagement activities for the Trust
• Plan and coordinate Trust's participation and representation in external events (e.g. exhibitions, forums) to enhance the Trust's profile.
• Manage projects' budget and expense, as well as procurement exercises.
• Prepare reports and necessary information when required
• Complete other job tasks as assigned by supervisors

Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the selected candidate.
