Responsibility

  • Work closely with deal team and functional teams to build up integration plans prior to acquisition close.
  • Conduct operational / integration due diligence, synergy development and business plan review.
  • Lead Day 1 and Day 100 planning, execution and drive performance improvement in functional areas.
  • Be the primary contact from M&A function for communication, questions, issues and risks between target companies, internal functional teams and leadership team.
  • Define key integration success metrics and periodically track and present progress on integration status, risks and metric to various stakeholders against integration plan and timeline.
  • Identify and mitigate integration risks and issues prior to and post-acquisition.
  • Conduct in-depth research on selected topics as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

  • Tertiary education; MBA a plus
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in merger integration or business transformation from reputable firms
  • Big 4 Investment Bank post-acquisition integration experience preferred
  • Excellent command of English and Mandarin, both written and verbal, is a must. Experiences in or with Chinese institutions preferred
  • Exposure to TMT sector preferred but not required
  • Willing to travel
