Job description

One of the global retailer that focuses on casual wear for young consumers is now seeking Regional Compliance & Sustainability Manager to join their energetic team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

Fully responsible to manage of audit scheduling, factory corrective action planning, and remediation
Build and maintain strong working relationships with both Compliance Managers and Senior Management within the APAC vendor base
Collaborate with other brands, local stakeholders, and industry groups to keep the US Home Office informed of industry developments for ongoing development of the program in Asia
Responsible to manage current Sustainability programs such as HERproject , SAC Higg Index self assessments, and any ad hoc projects
As an owner, lead Sustainability on-boarding sessions for new vendors and / or follow up with existing vendors
Drive capacity building and training programs for vendors and factories
Develop and manage the remediation program for all high risk factories, including the selection of approved 3rd party training partners

Requirements

Bachelors degree or local equivalent required

Frequency international travel required

5+ years of Compliance / Sustainability experience

Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with all levels of management

Exceptional time management, self motivation, and organizational skills

Proficiency and comfort with PC applications and reporting tools
