Job description

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Product Leadership : Lead the entire product development lifecycle : ideation, structuring, documentation, regulatory approval, and post-launch management for funds, mandates, and alternatives. / Oversee producternance frameworks, ensuring robustness andpliance with HKMA, SFC, and cross-border regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Initiative Management : Develop and refine producternance, tracking tools, and cross-departmental workflows (Investment, Legal,pliance, Distribution). / Drive key business projects, including product enhancements and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Market & Regulatory Expertise : Act as the subject-matter expert on product trends, client needs, and regulatory shifts in Greater China and global markets. Conductpetitive intelligence, market research, and peer analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with sales team to support product training, RFPs, and client-facing materials. Build strong relationships with regulators, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Team Development & Innovation : Mentor and develop a team of product specialists. Champion process improvements and innovative product solutions tailored to clients.
  • Handle ad-hoc assignment as requested by superior.

Requirements :

  • Experience & Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's Degree holder or above in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields.
  • 5+ years in asset management product development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience with launching mutual funds or private funds in Asian markets.
  • Technical Expertise :
  • Deep knowledge of Hong Kong and Mainland China regulatory frameworks (SFC, HKMA, CSRC).
  • Experience with institutional (pension, insurance) and high-net-worth client segments will be advantage.
  • CFA, FRM qualification preferred.
  • Leadership & Skills :
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
  • Language & Cultural Fit :
  • Goodmand in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
  • Experience working in China-backed financial institutions or cross-border environments is highly valued.
