The Vacancy

Job Description

• Undertaking outline and detail design (Civil/ Geotechnical), and both individually and as part of a wider team, for projects within specified timescales
• Produce site plans, general arrangements and calculations with approved engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria
• Co-ordination work with other engineers and professionals in providing adequate information for effective project progression
• Prepare technical and non-technical reports
• Provide guidance and supervisor to junior engineers
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the design is communicated effectively

Requirements

• Degree holder in Civil/ Structural/ Geotechnical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Senior Engineer: Over 2 years post-chartership experience with corporate membership from HKIE / ICE or equivalent
• Engineer: Minimum 2 years of practical experience in water/ civil/ structural/ geotechnical engineering design, preferably with corporate membership from HKIE / ICE or equivalent
• Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices
• Able to work under pressure efficiently and independently, and a team player
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English & Chinese
