Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the execution ofplex M&A and financing transactions across the power, energy, and infrastructure sectors, including renewables, conventional power generation, utilities, and transport infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, tradingps), and scenario planning to support deal structuring and investment decisions.
  • Prepare high-quality client deliverables including pitch books, information memorandum, management presentations, and board materials.
  • Conduct in-depth industry and market research to identify trends, regulatory developments, and strategic opportunities across Asia Pacific.
  • Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, working closely with legal, technical, tax, and financial advisors to ensure smooth transaction execution.
  • Engage directly with clients, investors, and counterparties to support negotiations, provide strategic insights, and drive deal momentum.
  • Contribute to origination efforts by identifying new business opportunities, preparing marketing materials, and supporting relationship development with key stakeholders across the region.

Requirements :

  • Strong experience in investment banking, project finance, or corporate development, with a strong focus on infrastructure or power generation M&A or structured financing.
  • Demonstrated track record of executing end-to-end transactions, including deal structuring, financial modelling, due diligence, and client engagement.
  • Strong technical skills in financial analysis, modelling, and valuation, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial databases and tools is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the energy transition, renewable energy technologies, and infrastructure investment landscape in Asia Pacific.
  • Excellentmunication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, or another Asian language is highly advantageous.
  • Strong academic background in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field; CFA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
