How you will create an impact

This is a critical front-line role in driving continuous system improvements, supporting both internal and external stakeholders as they use our primary electronic distribution platform.

Key accountabilities will include but not limited to :

Responsible / accountable for delivering first level service , support, and incident resolution for a major commercial lines insurance platform (and its associated infrastructure and integration points with external providers), leveraging corporate service management tools and workflow processes.

Supports issues resolution and technical trouble shooting on behalf of the business users and in collaboration with IT.

For Business Support, prioritize, raise and follow up enhancements and defects to resolution in the agreed timeline.

Provide support to BAs in analysing , defects and enhancements, interpreting user requirements to provide an initial assessment of the required work.

Track, monitor and regularly update stakeholders during an incident’s lifecycle through to its resolution.

Create and execute test plans, retest fixes as necessary.

Attend test planning meetings as required.

Provide, maintain, and continuously enrich User guides / manuals , FAQ guides and other knowledge documentation.

Manage team support inboxes .

Obtain user group approval for production or enhancements as required.

Ensure adherence to internal governance and compliance procedures , policies, and guidelines.

Participate in operational audits, disaster recovery and business continuity exercises , when required.

What you’ll need to succeed

University / College graduates with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in either Insurance or Financial Services sector

With General Insurance knowledge is an advantage

Good communication, interpersonal skills and collaborative, a team player

Attentive to details, self-motivated with positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently

Sound knowledge and competencies in Access, Excel spreadsheet, PowerPoint, charts, dashboard programming

Experience in supporting browser-based technology platforms

Proven ability to work on multiple issues concurrently, delivering in accordance with customer expectations.

Outgoing with excellent stakeholder management skills

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong analytical skills
