Job descriptionF.5 / DSE or above 8 years experience or above in garment merchandising field Knowledge of fabric and garment production is a must Apart from China, sourcing experience in other countries is an advantage Familiar with Europe market is preferable Self-motivated, responsible, independent, detailed-mind, good problem-solving skills Well organized & good time management Good interpersonal and communication skills Strong multi-tasking ability and able to work under pressure Fluent in speaking Mandarin, Cantonese, English Good at typing and writing English, Traditional & Simplified Chinese Occasional business trip to China and oversea countries Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint Immediate available is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist Merchandising Manager in various kinds of garment projects & product development
- Perform general merchandising and sourcing duties, including product sourcing, product development, handling inquiries, sampling, preparing quotations, price negotiations, order follow up and problem solving
- Monitor the production and shipment status to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain good relationship with the factories and vendors
- Work closely with Quality Assurance team to ensure the product quality complied to standards
- Arrange vendor / customer meeting and factory visit
- Coordinate & participate trade fairs / exhibitions
- Handle ad-hoc assignments as required
