Job description

Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Manager (Safety & Training), the appointee will mainly perform the following duties :

To oversee health and safety in high-risk works including maintenance activities and large-scale refurbishment
To conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and surprise audits at the work site
To organise promotional events related to health and safety and promote health and safety culture
To review in-house health and safety instructions and safety code of practice
To advise and ensure compliance of the latest statutory requirements

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or related disciplines

A minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in power or heavy industry

A Registered Safety Officer (RSO) a must

Good knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety management and technology

Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Holder of a valid class 1 and 2 driving license an advantage

Working Location : Lamma Island, transportation to be provided
