Job descriptionAcademic degree ideally in law Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Fluent English and Chinese Keen interest in data privacy Prior experience in a data privacy role is strongly preferred Privacy relevant certification, for example by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) an advantage
Exciting opportunity for candidates with an interest in Data Privacy matters to join a top tier UK law firm. The role will include :
- Ensuring the firms compliance to privacy laws and regulations
- Provide regulatory compliance advice on data privacy regulations including applicable obligations on new business initiatives or change in processing activity
- Collaborate and engage with internal stakeholders on any new or changes to privacy laws and requirements and provide support in the implementation of necessary compliance measures
- Collaborate with the IT and security departments to develop robust processes for handling data access requests
