The Head of Solution Architecture and Quality Assurance will lead and coach a team of Solution Architects and Quality Assurance professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. This role will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and business solution analysis.

  • Craft holistic solution architectures in alignment with business objectives, adhering to enterprise architectural standards.
  • Actively collaborate with Enterprise Architects for Architecture Review Board (ARB), aligning strategies, and adopting a global architecture framework.
  • Assume the role of Design Authority to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of all solution designs.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of design standards and practices within the organization.
  • Establish and implement Quality Assurance processes, standards, and methodologies across the organization.
  • Lead the Testing Center of Excellence (CoE) to design and execute robust testing strategies for software and applications projects.
  • Enhance the quality management framework, ensuring that quality assurance practices align with industry standards and contribute to the overall quality at every stage of the project.
  • Collaborate closely with Client Solutions heads to shape and execute technology strategies aligning with organizational goals.
  • Actively contribute to the formulation of technology roadmaps and architectural guidelines.
  • Enhance the portfolio management by ensuring that solution architectures are in sync with broader business demands and objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the portfolio for which RPA and hyperautomation could be leveraged.
  • Establish meaningful connections with business and market teams to understand their needs and co-create customized solutions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external partners, ensuring the success of solution implementations and projects delivery.
  • Keep an eye on the latest happenings in Retail Lab testing tech and industry trends, understanding how they could affect our work.
  • Bring in fresh ideas and improvements by suggesting and putting into action new tech, methods, and quality assurance practices to keep our Retail Lab testing ahead of the curve.
  • Work regularly with Gartner partners, getting insights and advice on emerging technologies.

    • What you can bring to the team…

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additional qualifications in business or project management are a plus.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in IT architecture, system design, or IT project management, with a focus on Retail operations and solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Architecture principles, cloud technologies, networking, security, and data management.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing systems, including hardware, software, and integration with other IT systems.
  • Project management expertise, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in IT architecture frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF, SAFe or ITIL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions and architectures.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT and POS architecture for Retail operations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
