We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator – Events to provide essential administrative support to our Event Sales Team and contribute to the overall success of the sales department. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as part of a team, and is eager to learn and grow within the sales field.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be :
- Providing daily administrative support to the Events Sales Team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, site visits and preparing reports.
- Handling general office duties, such as answering phones, processing mail, and ordering supplies.
- Qualifying incoming sales inquiries and routing them to the appropriate sales team member in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the preparation of event proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documents.
- Coordinating event logistics, including vendor communication, venue arrangements, and catering coordination assigned by Event Sales Team.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of sales events and promotional activities.
- Preparing and distributing event-related materials, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
- Processing event orders and invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales records and customer information in relevant systems e.g. Opera, Delphi, etc.
- Coordinating travel arrangements for the sales team.
- Collaborating effectively with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Monitoring market trends and track competitor activity to support the sales team members in their sales activities.
What we need from you
A bachelor’s degree in hotel management, business administration or equivalent.A minimum of 1 year's experience in a hotel sales team is preferred, fresh graduates are also welcome to join.A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience in using Opera is a plus.Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a must, speaking and writing; speak any other languages is an advantage.
