We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator – Events to provide essential administrative support to our Event Sales Team and contribute to the overall success of the sales department. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as part of a team, and is eager to learn and grow within the sales field.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be :

  • Providing daily administrative support to the Events Sales Team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, site visits and preparing reports.
  • Handling general office duties, such as answering phones, processing mail, and ordering supplies.
  • Qualifying incoming sales inquiries and routing them to the appropriate sales team member in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with the preparation of event proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documents.
  • Coordinating event logistics, including vendor communication, venue arrangements, and catering coordination assigned by Event Sales Team.
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of sales events and promotional activities.
  • Preparing and distributing event-related materials, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
  • Processing event orders and invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales records and customer information in relevant systems e.g. Opera, Delphi, etc.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for the sales team.
  • Collaborating effectively with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Monitoring market trends and track competitor activity to support the sales team members in their sales activities.

What we need from you

  • A bachelor’s degree in hotel management, business administration or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a hotel sales team is preferred, fresh graduates are also welcome to join.
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience in using Opera is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a must, speaking and writing; speak any other languages is an advantage.
