Pricing Actuary

Job description

Excellent opportunity to work with a leading global Life reinsurer in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be a key member of the regional pricing team and assist local offices in all pricing related responsibilities.

About the role

Provide pricing and risk analysis support to local offices within the region
Assess and review risk exposure; suggest and report on possible avenues for further analysis; discuss and present the information to local offices
Develop and maintain pricing knowledge in products, assumptions, and benchmark setting
Provide peer review of pricing bases; together with local pricing teams, ensure regular reviews and updates of pricing bases are at the local standard
Support client development initiatives in the region

About you

Qualified / nearly qualified actuary from a globally recognized actuarial association

5+ years of Life (re)insurance experience

Strong product knowledge in individual life products, as well as solid analytical and programming skills preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to travel within the region (moderate travel required)
