Provost (Vice President (Academic)) (Ref : 25002M7)
The Position
The University is looking for a person of high caliber to be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the academic and academic support offices. He / she will drive overall academic strategies and priorities, oversee quality assurance of academic programmes including monitoring the outcome of student learning, directing the enhancement of teaching standards, as well as reviewing and implementing policies in relation to academic resources. In addition, he / she will assist the President in initiating changes to meet the evolving landscape of the higher education arena and enhancing the profile of the University. It is anticipated that he / she will look after seven Schools and one academic support office, including School of Arts and Social Sciences, Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, School of Education and Languages, School of Nursing and Health Sciences, School of Science and Technology, School of Open Learning, Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education and Registry, and undertake major projects as required by the University.
