Summary
Within, Operations, Premises & Country COOs (OPC) based in Hong Kong, Capital Market Operations (CMO) teams are responsible to process the transaction activities for Credit, Rates, FX / MM, Securities and Equities for multiple geographies (APAC and EMEA). There are 2 teams under CMO HK in charge of :
Capital Market Middle Office (CMM)Capital Market Back Office (CMB)Capital Market Middle Office team in HK is around 40 staffs and 6 sub-teams :
MO Sales and Client Services : In charge of deals originated by Sales including Trade validation, allocations, MTM reporting and collateral managementMO IRD / EIS : In charge of Interest Rate and Equity DerivativesMO FX / MM / Credit : In charge of Foreign Exchange, Money Market and CreditsMO Post Trade : In charge of the processing activities from FO systems to BO systemsMO Reconciliation : In charge of the various reconciliation (FO-BO; FO-FO,…)MDA : In charge of Market Data activitiesThis role is within the Capital Markets Equity Trading and Sales Support Middle Office which includes

Provide support to Front Office business lines under Global Markets Division during Asian trading hoursEnsure transactional integrity across trading applications, including 1st level trade checkingPerform trade modification, cancellation, and / or trade event processing (ie : early termination, partial termination, unwind) upon trading approval and report profit and loss impact, if anyMonitoring, calculation and validation of events affecting the life of a structured product (coupons, Securities transactions, early partial closing, early exercise, maturity, nominal changes, etc)Monitoring and management of the market data repository (equities, indices, proprietary indices, third parties, calendars) with internal or external providersMonitoring and booking of various corporate actions like dividends and cash flow processingProvide an efficient post-trade support by ensuring trade information flows efficiently through deal processing from front office to back office system and front-office to front office systemInvestigate and follow-up of breaks sent by back office, front office and other internal departmentsSupport local business development and volume increaseAd hoc participation and support for projects for continuous improvement and optimization of management processes (specifications, user tests, process drafting) in conjunction with project teams, IT teams and managementPersonal data provided by job applicants will be used strictly in accordance with the employer’s personal data policies, a copy of which will be provided immediately upon request.

Minimal education level
Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
University Degree holder from discipline in Finance, Mathematics or Engineering
Level of minimal experience
6-10 years
Experience
Minimum 5-7 years experience in Equity Derivatives Middle Office environment is necessary

Good analytical, organizational and interpersonal skillComfortable with multi-tasking and able to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to details and a self-starter who is highly motivatedGood judgement, alertness and common senseVersatile with PC tools and applications, e.g. MS Office, VBATechnical skills required
Good knowledge of financial products and understanding of the operational risks involved in Equities (Dealt 1, Equity Finance, GRI, Corporate Actions)
Languages
Fluency in English. Proficient in French or other Asian languages a definite advantage
