Senior Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a scalable and high-performance software solution to support our business.

Responsible for the architecture design, code review and maintenance and testing

Work closely with developers, project managers, architects and data scientists to ensure the project schedule.

Work on agile scrum development methodology

Requirements

5+ years relevant software development

3+ years relevant experience in Django development.

Experience in building RESTS API.

Experience in server-side performance tuning and scaling.

Experience in RDBMS such as MySQL, or PostgreSQL and database tuning.

Experience in software version control systems such as git.

Experience in NoSQL such as Redis, MongoDB, or Firestore.

Experience in frontend technology such as ReactJS, Next.js, and JQuery.

Experience in Kubernetes is an advantage.

Experience in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure or AWS, is an advantage.

Good critical thinking and problem solving skills

Take ownership of tasks assigned and have a positive “can-do” attitude
