We are looking for a Business Developer to join a retail design business unit and collaborate with the Creative Director in the growth of their business. You will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of clients and for expanding it through your network and prospective work.
You will join a small creative team and play a key part in building the business and supporting the growth of the agency.
Role requirements

Develop a portfolio of prospects and clients
Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions and events
Achieve sales targets
Report on business activity
Develop a sales portfolio :
Develop a growth strategy focused both on business growth and customer satisfaction Define and identify targets of prospects / potential customersBuild connections, establish rapport and organize meetings with clientsManagement of follow-ups and appointments, follow-upDevelop and maintain client relationshipsDevelop and manage strategic partnerships to grow businessConduct ongoing market research
Represent the company :
Act as an ambassador and represent the agency in all prospective settingsParticipate in sector-related events and public relationsLead agency presentations to present case studies and the expertise of the team
Achieve sales targets :
Track, identify and add qualified prospects to pipelineNegotiate contracts terms in terms of costs, quality and deadlinesWrite quotes and proposals
Reporting :
Regularly report your progress to the Creative Director and commercial team (monitoring, briefing and debriefing of ongoing projects…)
Qualities & characteristics
Master’s degree in business, marketing or related field5 years in a similar roleExperience in architecture, interior design or a creative field an assetDemonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) salesImpeccable verbal and written communication skillsStrong presentation skills to promote our agency and businessSkilled negotiator, go getter and tanicous mindsetFluent in English, another language an asset
