The associate / manager role will report directly to the Head of Strategy & Planning within the General Management Office (GMO) team in Hong Kong. The selected candidate is expected to provide support to monthly and administrative routine tasks related to executive reporting, business performance evaluations, operational committee meetings, strategic planning, strategy development for initiatives ongoing in the Asia Pacific region
The Strategy & Planning Department and / GMO mandate is providing the necessary support in assisting the HK CEO on delivering the regional strategy and driving change projects across the APAC region as well as business as usual duties from normal course of operations
Key success factors for this role centers around excellent prioritization and time management skills, interpersonal skills when dealing with HODs & senior executives, able to meet tight deadlines, multi-tasking on business as usual (BAU) and ad hoc tasks as required, establishing close rapports with all business units (BUs) including International Wealth Management (IWM), Global Markets (GM), Global Sales & Prime Services (GSPS) and other mid to back office support functions (Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Ops, IT, Audit etc.)
Working with the respective HK BUs in consolidating monthly Asia Management Committee decks, Hong Kong business performance evaluation decks, Operations meetings, and other administrative reports or tasks as needed
Setup key meetings, coordinate, maintain and communicate meeting agendas with regional BUs and various stakeholders / participants
Drive, gather and understand businesses across various BUs across Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand to be able to put together end materials for leadership team consumption
Prepare industry & competitor analysis reports and materials for management as needed
Facilitate communicate with BUs on all changes (regulatory, operational, organizational structure) and coordinating with Taiwan GMO team for KGI policy changes and regulatory notifications
Work with middle and back office teams on information coordination as needed.

Requirements
Bachelor degree or above
Minimum 5 years of experience in middle office or global market operations functions
Strong knowledge on FICC products - including fixed income, credit derivatives, FX, interest rate derivatives, OTC derivatives, etc.
Good understanding on the end-to-end trading lifecycle
Excellent PC skills with good understanding of MS Office (Word & Excel)
Ideally with HK SFC Type 1 License
Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
