Data Sourcer – Hong Kong

They are looking for an exceptional individual to join the Data Search & Analytics team, who operate at the intersection of Research and Technology. A pivotal role, you’ll work in close collaboration with researchers, traders and engineers focusing on sourcing and evaluating new datasets in response to the trading desks’ priorities. You will also identify and liaise with new data vendors, interpreting both traditional and alternative datasets.

The ideal candidate will likely come from a hedge fund or investment firm and have worked extensively with datasets, large and small, in high-performance environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in a Content Analyst / Data Analyst / Strategy Associate role (or similar)
• Experience working with both traditional and alternative financial datasets
• Outstanding communication skills, able to collaborate with various different stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
• Tech skills not required; all backgrounds welcome
