Job description

The CTA(BSS) will be seconded to the Hong Kong Housing Authority to carry out the following :

Job Duties

Normal Office Hours : Monday to Friday 08 : 00 to 18 : 00;
Salary : Monthly Salary will be ranging from HK$25,115 to HK$40,630 (depending on related working experience);
Carry out site supervision, site inspection of all building services installations under construction and / or maintenance stages;
Handle and resolve technical problems arising from site construction;
Liaise with professionals, technical officers, site staff of the Housing Department and contractor's representatives on matters related to the project;
To perform routine and ad hoc inspection of all building services installations including trouble shooting and site matter recording;
To supervise and monitor site progress, quality and quantity of work and to feedback the performance of contractors to the CM or his representatives;
To check sample boards and materials for compliance with specifications and monitor the correct use of materials on Site;
To check drawings, programme against site condition and contract specifications;
To keep site drawings and documents updated;
Perform on-site measurement, prepare survey drawings and maintain proper records;
To perform other duties as directed by the CM or the CM’s Representatives

Requirements

Diploma / Higher Certificate or above in Building Services or Electrical Studies or Mechanical Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University or an Institute of Vocational Education;

Experience in inspection of building services is preferred;

Well-versed in Building Regulations and Code of Practices;

Proficient in Photoshop, 3D (Autodesk Revit) and PowerPoint applications preferred;

Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;

Self-motivated, good communications and interpersonal skills
