Job Responsibility

Key Responsibilities : 1. Strategic Planning and Execution :

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the brand, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and threats.
  • Define the product positioning and pricing strategy to maximize market share and profitability.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to refine the brand’s overall vision and long-term growth strategy. 2. Sales Growth and Market Expansion :
  • Lead the sales organization to achieve commercial targets in both existing and new markets, including domestic and international.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, optimize sales channels, and expand market penetration.
  • Foster relationships with key distributors, retailers, and trade partners, ensuring the brand’s strong presence in the market.
  • Monitor the performance of sales teams, provide guidance, and ensure effective execution of sales plans. 3. Brand Development and Marketing :
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute impactful brand-building campaigns that enhance visibility and customer loyalty.
  • Oversee the execution of promotional and trade marketing strategies, ensuring they align with the overall commercial goals.
  • Evaluate marketing and advertising campaigns to ensure they generate desired brand awareness and sales results. 4. Leadership and Team Management :
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results and collaboration.
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and logistics, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of key commercial talent within the organization. 5. Market and Competitor Analysis :
  • Regularly conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies.
  • Use data and insights to make informed decisions, refine strategies, and drive continuous improvement in business operations. 6. P&L Responsibility and Budget Management :
  • Manage and optimize the commercial P&L, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness across all channels and activities.
  • Oversee budget planning and allocation for commercial functions, ensuring effective resource utilization and cost control. 7. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management :
  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with local and international regulations related to alcohol sales and distribution.
  • Identify potential risks in the market and work with the legal team to mitigate them.

Job Qualification

Qualifications : 1. Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced qualifications is a plus. 2. Experience :
  • At least 10 years of experience in the spirits or alcohol beverage industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership or commercial management role.
  • Proven track record in driving significant sales growth and managing large-scale commercial operations.
  • Experience in both domestic and international markets, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior in the spirits industry. 3. Skills :
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive business results.
  • Excellent sales leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on performance optimization and target achievement.
  • Deep understanding of the spirits industry, including key trends, regulatory requirements, and consumer preferences.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and trade partners.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing at all levels. 4. Leadership :
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious business goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a solutions-oriented approach to overcoming challenges. 5. Language Skills :
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Additional language skills, particularly in key international markets, are an advantage. 6. Other :
  • Strong passion for the spirits industry, with a deep understanding of global and local market trends.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work in diverse geographic locations.
  • Highly adaptable and proactive in addressing changing business needs. Location : Based in Hong Kong Office with frequent travel to key markets in the regions.
