Responsibilities
- Responsible and assist senior bankers in credit originations including preparation and review of credit memos on new and existing TMT clients in HK and China on corporate lending, derivatives hedging, and trade business related financial solutions and advisory
- Assess the credit worthiness of counterparties through accurate and insightful industry or business related analysis, risk grading, financial modeling and stress testing
- Identify key historical (and future) credit (and non-credit) risks of customers
- Spread and analyze financial statements to perform ratio analysis and evaluate credit quality and portfolio risk. Manage the submission process and timelines
- Monitor the portfolio of lending and derivative exposure. Conduct credit and exposure analysis in credit forums
- Ensure regulatory and risk compliances
- Monitor on-going credit developments and compliance to credit conditions and covenants
- Provide training to staff for credit memo write up and dealing with regulatory if needed
Requirements
Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics or related disciplinesMinimum 10 years of relationship management and credit analysis experience in corporate / commercial banking environmentGood understanding of commercial banking products and services and HK-China cross-border RMB productsStrong credit analysis and risk management skillsDemonstrate excellent drive for results and be able to adapt to a fast paced environmentGood leadership with effective interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in written and oral English, Cantonese and MandarinPrimary Location
