Manager, Energy and Building Management System

You will be engaged in the work of the District Facility Services Department reporting to the Head, Technical Services and responsible for :

overseeing the energy management / energy policy / energy analysis / energy use target setting / energy audit and the management / operation of building service management system including integrated BMS management and operation for venues and park and their related facilities and system;

supervising and monitoring outsourced property management service providers to ensure high standard and quality services are delivered regarding energy use and IBMS / BMS operation / maintenance contract;

contributing to the design of facilities development with main focuses on energy management and IBMS / BMS operation for venue and park operations;

handling emergency management of the events being organised in WKCD and commercial operators regarding IBMS / BMS operation;

planning and organising the due diligence for taking over new venues and outdoor open area including project schedule management;

preparing the site operation manual, incident risk and emergency operation procedure regarding IBMS / BMS operation and management;

managing continuous improvement works in energy saving / IBMS / BMS; and

performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

You should :

possess a recognised university degree in Engineering (MVAC / Building Services) or equivalent;

have 10 years of experience in energy management and BMS operation including integrated BMS management and operation, of which at least 5 years relevant working experience in energy management and BMS operation in Building Services / MVAC engineering including new project, renovation, A&A works and R&M maintenance services;

be a holder of EMSD Registered Energy Assessor and Registered Electrical Worker (Grade C or above);

preferably have a professional membership of relevant institution such as CIBSE, IMECHE, HKIE, etc;

preferably be familiar with Building Management System (BMS), Facilities Management System and / or others facilities management systems in museum, exhibition hall, theatre, office, retail shop and restaurant;

be proficient in PC knowledge including AutoCAD, MS Applications;

be a responsible and good team player, and be able to work independently and proactively; and

be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
