Job description

We are looking for a Housekeeping Trainer at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As a Housekeeping Trainer, we rely on you to :

  • Be responsible for providing leadership and maintaining the daily operation of all Housekeeping functions according to the standards established by the Hotel
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas and ensure quality standards are well-maintained
  • Identify training needs and develop training initiatives to enhance service quality
  • Manage the administrative duties including P&L, roster planning, and stock inventory control
  • Prepare related reports, verify and update room status so as to prioritize room cleaning for the team
  • Perform any other duties and special projects as assigned by the Supervisors

We are looking for someone who has :

  • Certificate in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Housekeeping Department, preferably in a similar capacity and international hotel experience will be an advantage
  • Knowledge in Housekeeping operations and equipment
  • Knowledge in education methods
  • Strong leadership skills & excellent interpersonal skills
  • Quality-driven, customer and business results oriented
  • Highly motivated and ambitious
  • Proficient in PC application
  • Excellent command of spoken & written English and Cantonese; proficiency in spoken Mandarin is desired
