The Company

Investment Bank

The Role

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications specifically for equities trading systems.
  • Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
  • Develop and maintain scalable REST APIs for seamless system integration.
  • Engage fully in the software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, including sales, trading, operations, and finance teams, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Your Profile

  • Proficiency in Java programming, including advanced features and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with backend development frameworksand technologies.
  • Strong working knowledge of database technologiesfor efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Skilled in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologiesand tools for collaborative development
  • Solid understanding of equities trading processes, including market-related concepts and systems.
  • Familiarity with financial terminology, trading workflows, and risk management principles.
