Job Description

Our client, a hedge fund with global offices, is actively seeking an end user support engineer to join their team in Hong Kong.

The role :

  • Investigating, diagnosing, researching, tracking, and resolving intricate technical issues
  • Escalating problems and facilitating user support from external entities or other IT units as required
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to end users, traders, and senior management
  • Collaborating effectively within a cooperative and global team setting
  • Managing incident response for critical company-wide matters by escalating and coordinating as necessary
  • Addressing technology concerns spanning hardware, software, user accounts, trading setups, operating systems, and mobile devices
  • Engaging in technical partnerships with other Infrastructure teams and business IT units as appropriate

What you offer :

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Good knowledge of Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, and Android platforms
  • Solid knowledge of MDM and corporate device management
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, TCP / IP, and VPN services
  • Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD) exposure highly preferred
  • Functional understanding of messaging platforms, collaboration tools, video conferencing solutions (e.g., WebEx, MS Teams, Zoom), A / V setups, and conference room technologies
  • Strong communication skills to convey information effectively and professionally to audiences of varying technical backgrounds and seniority levels
  • Fluency in English
