Job descriptionOversee quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of production staff, engineers, and support personnel. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and safety among all employees. Develop and manage the factory budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation. Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency gains. Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for timely procurement of materials and supplies. Optimize inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure production continuity. Ensure adherence to all local labor laws, safety regulations, and environmental policies. Prepare for and manage compliance audits, ensuring all operational practices meet legal requirements. Degree in related discipline Minimum of 10 years of experience in the garment manufacturing sector or in factory management Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and managing large teams Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies Proficient in production planning or manufacturing execution system Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills
