Packaging Engineer / Coordinator / Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Packaging Engineer / Coordinator / designer to drive packaging structural simplicity while ensuring product protection, packaging method & fulfill 3rd party customer requirement & create product rendering.

The successful candidate will oversee packing processes, engage with new packaging designs, and improve existing ones to appeal to consumers in terms of packaging structure design, quality, and cost. This role requires a hands-on approach to project-based work and establishing key material suppliers' relationships with a focus on material and process sustainability.

This role involves collaboration with various teams and the implementation of packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Packaging Management : Develop and verify packaging solutions that meet product specifications and 3rd party customer requirements in US / EU, such as pallet / club ready packaging calculation / verifications, Etc. Review different types of packaging commonly, design and develop packaging solutions that are safe and cost-effective.

Project Coordination : Manage packaging projects, ensuring timely delivery and collaboration with design, marketing, and production teams.

Quality Assurance : Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and resolve any packaging issues

Process Improvement : Analyze and enhance current packaging processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of packaging specifications.

Profile

3years of experience in packaging or a related field is preferred

Strong understanding of packaging materials and processes

Excellent project management and organizational skills

Proficient in packaging design software and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Requirements

Packaging, design Technology or related field.

Packaging structure design capability via design software programs in 2D & 3D environment. (e.g. Esko ArtiosCAD, Adobe Illustrator & Solidworks)

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment while independently managing multiple projects, partners, and priorities.

Sound persuasive skills to navigate resistance to change and influence people to accept the solutions.
