Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the accounting operations and financial reporting to ensure accurate financial information are recorded according to group policies and procedures in a timely manner. You will lead finance-related projects aimed at improving processes and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Handle accounting operations mainly focus on accounts payable, fixed asset management and general ledger review
• Prepare monthly schedule, month end closing and reporting
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data
• Compiles and analyses financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
• Assists the department to establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
• Monitors and reviews accounting and related system reports interface in accurate and timely manner
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls and efficiency
• Interacts with internal and external auditors in completing group audit, statutory audit and tax reporting
• Participate in annual stock takes
• Manage finance-related projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency
• Perform other duties and ad-hoc assignments as assigned Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or other related disciplines with recognized professional accounting qualifications (HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent certification)
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience in similar capacity.
• Patient, initiative, detail oriented with focus on accuracy and strong sense of responsibility
• Good communication and presentation skill
• A good team player and able to work independently. Well-organized and good time management in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadline
• Solid knowledge of finance and accounting concepts
• Proficient in MS Office especially in excel and knowledge on ERP systems, SAP experience is preferred
