Job descriptionBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 years of experience in fund accounting; fresh graduates are wee to apply for junior positions. Candidates from fund houses with experience in fund accounting or operations are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of pension funds is an advantage. My client, a reputable financial institution, is seeking an accountant to assist with fund administration, ensuring precise fund accounting, reporting, and operational processes.
Key responsibilities :
- Handle daily fund accounting, including NAV calculation, subscription / redemption reconciliation, and other fund administration tasks.
- Manage fund accounting activities, ensuring daily reconciliation of cash and positions.
- Perform portfolio valuation andpute NAV for funds.
- Prepare and maintain internal MIS reports.
- Generate and distribute client reports promptly.
- Ensurepliance with industry standards by managing regulatory reporting.
- Assist in the investment order placement process.
- Support audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Perform ad hoc accounting and administrative duties for relevant funds.
- Participate in various tasks or projects as required.
