Job descriptionDSE / Form 5 or above 5 years or above relevant working experience in yarn department of sweater industry is required Have solid technical skills in yarn spinning, dyeing, weaving, and ability to solve problems and to provide technical solutions for improvement when needed Strong in yarn sourcing & development, good knowledge of yarn materials, sustainable yarns, and traceability documents Knowledge in offshore yarn factory / mills is an advantage Self-motivated, proactive, initiative, attentive to details, strong problem solving and communication skills Good command of spoken and written in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua) Proficiency in MS Office Applications and Chinese word processing Candidate with less experience will be considered as Officer - Yarn Division Immediately available is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Follow up yarn orders from sample development to production, ensure order deliveries are on time
- Assist Product Development Team / Sales Team / customers in locating specific yarns, provide guidance and recommendations on yarn properties, availability, and limitations
- Share latest yarn information with Sales Team
- Regularly maintain and update Yarn Library
