This role is organized under AllianceBernstein’s Fixed Income Business Development unit within the Global Client Group. The Client Group has a presence in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia, and is composed of five main areas :
- Sales & Client Services works with financial intermediaries and institutions to offer diversified investment solutions that help clients build and preserve their wealth
- Business Development is a conduit to the firm’s investment teams and supports our clients and internal business partners through investment-platform and product content, messaging, competitive analysis and education
- Product Strategy & Development designs, develops and manages the firm’s global lineup of investment services and considers clients’ evolving needs to identify new opportunities
- Marketing promotes the firm and its services by creating, packaging and distributing content and messaging to engage diverse audiences through digital platforms and initiatives, strategic campaigns, and events
- Business Transformation looks to evolve and scale our business, leveraging digital and data, to drive top-line growth and improve profitability
Job Summary
AB’s Global Fixed Income Business Development team includes approximately 40 professionals including product management and investment strategists. The Product Analyst partners with both investments and distribution to promote and drive the growth of the business for AB. The Product Analyst will serve as product champion for specific Fixed Income products, as well as focuses on various channels and / or regions. The individual will be responsible for articulating AB’s fixed income market views and portfolio strategies with AB’s salesforce.
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fixed Income Product Analyst to support fixed income senior investment strategists, portfolio managers, and act as a key liaison for AB’s Asia sales teams. This role is central to driving product positioning, marketing, and client engagement across AB’s globally-integrated fixed income platform.
Key responsibilities :
Serve as the first point of contact for Asia sales teams on assigned AB’s fixed income strategies and fundsSupport client-facing senior investment strategists with pitchbook updates, product positioning, portfolio data analysisPartner with investment teams and marketing to develop and maintain core product materialsBuild expertise in AB’s investment process and market outlook to represent fixed income capabilities crediblyAnalyze and explain portfolio performance and positioning using attribution and risk toolsGenerate new sales ideas and advocate for AB’s strategies across channelsAlign with regional and channel priorities to inform internal communication and strategyCollaborate with fixed income senior investment strategists on business development, training, and focus areasConduct competitor analysis to support product positioningAssist with RFPs / Due Diligence Questionnaires and respond to advisor and relationship manager inquiriesIdentify and contribute to thought leadership initiativesJob Qualifications & Key Attributes
3–5 years of experience working with fixed income instruments and / or in product management roles within the investment management industryStrong interest in capital markets and creativity to engage effectively with AB’s sales teams, prospects, and clients.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining strong internal relationshipsHighly organized and detail-orientedStrong marketing and messaging capabilities, with the vision to craft and sustain a compelling narrative for the firm’s fixed income platform and productsA collaborative team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, including negotiation, consensus-building, and relationship managementA proactive mindset with a desire for educating internal stakeholders and supporting AB sales initiativesExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in an Asian language is a plusAn advanced degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred. CFA designation or active progress toward certification is advantageousHong Kong
