Responsibilities
- Manage client-related accounting tasks, including updating receipts and payments, recording disbursements, and performing daily bank reconciliations.
- Oversee daily operations of clients' bank accounts and coordinate with bankers to address client requests, such as quoting interest rates for time deposits and releasing funds.
- Administer clients' bank accounts and electronic banking platforms, including account opening, closing, and maintenance.
- Maintain strong relationships with bankers to promptly resolve banking service issues.
- Ensure compliance with Firm policies and relevant regulations, such as Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and Anti-Money Laundering Regulations.
- Address requests and inquiries from both internal and external clients.
- Proactively seek ways to enhance the team's work efficiency.
- Support ad hoc analysis and assignments as needed.
Experience Requirements
Advanced diploma or higher in Finance or Accountancy.At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with high-volume transaction exposure.Familiarity with banking operations, including handling receipts, payments, and using various electronic banking platforms.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact with individuals at different levels both internally and externally.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel; knowledge of Aderant is an advantage.A good team player, mature, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong time management skills, well-organized, capable of handling multiple tasks, and self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude.Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
