Job descriptionExperience dealing with data and data infrastructure in a systematic way Experience with equity markets and products is desirable Programming experience including but not limited to R, Database languages, VBA, Java, Linux, AWS Experience dealing with unstructured data Research based degree in a Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields a plus Experience developing user interfaces / front ends Familiarity with web scraping and common scraping tools Exceptionally motivated, hard-working, and a self-starter
OVERVIEW
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Analyst working alongside a Portfolio Manager / Senior Analyst whose focuses on Index Rebalance strategies
- Maintenance of current infrastructure and development on new analytical tools
- Provide back-up coverage for key processes and index predictions models. The purpose is to allow the team to cover more index events in more depth.
The role can develop in either a quantitative analyst or index analyst route depending on the individual's aptitude and preference.
