The Company

One of the MNC insurance is looking for a Claims Manager to join their Macau Office. They open to local Macau candidate or HK based candidate who is willing to relocate.

The Role

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end claims process, ensuring timely and accurate claim handling.
  • Review, assess, and approve claims based on company policies, industry regulations, and risk assessment guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies while processing claims.
  • Analyze claims data and trends to identify areas for improvement and minimize risks.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of claims professionals to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Handle escalated or complex claims and provide resolution strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, legal, and finance teams, to optimize claim management.
  • Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of claims processing.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to claims.
  • Provide reports and insights to senior management regarding claim trends, risks, and process improvements.

Your Profile

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in claims management, with at least 1 years in an approver role.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims processing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume claims efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in claims management systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Good command in Cantonese and English
