G Posted byRecruiterA top global financial services firm is hiring Java Software Developers for their Private Wealth Management teams, which provide end-to-end technology solutions to support high-net-worth clients across Asia and Australia. These are 12-month extendable contract roles.

Role responsibilities :

Design, develop, and optimize trading platformponents.
Contribute to core libraries, system architecture, and technical design reviews.
Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with global teams on Agile / DevOps practices (CI / CD, automation).
Ensure high-quality code through documentation, testing, and troubleshooting (L3 support as needed).

Required experience :

5+ years of hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot) and OOP / functional programming.

Prior experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, MQ, pub / sub models).

Knowledge of microservices, caching, and databases (SQL / NoSQL).

Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud deployments.

Basic proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (React, Angular, or is a plus).

Ability to learnplex systems and financial workflows.

Passion for scalable, high-performance platforms.

Nice to have :

Prior experience in wealth management, trading systems, or derivatives.

Understanding of financial concepts (trades, orders, allocations, etc.).

Experience migrating monoliths into microservices.
