Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments, and multinational corporations, Securities this team a range of fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and Treasury, and Agency Lending and Liquidity services.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Manager, Securities Lending & Liquidity Services.

Principal Responsibilities

The objective of this role is to support the development, implementation, and change management of initiatives around securities lending, agency reverse repo and financing initiatives, ultimately delivering a wider suite of agency product for HSBC’s clients.

The successful candidate will face off to a variety of Internal / External stakeholders across Agency Lending (Trading, Operations & Product) and the wider global custody team.

Initiatives will include the on-boarding of new business wins, the building of new business models in conjunction with other functions to support internal business or external market driven initiatives, re-structuring of existing client business, re-engineering initiatives driven by industry changes and internal projects / initiatives,as well as supporting existing Client’s change.

In this role you will

• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
• Perform business analysis and convert into new requirements for development of the trading platform from the front end trading platform to local custody network
• Act as Agency Lending Product Owner for Liquidity Services, the role is to ensure current and future functionality is deployed across agency lending and vendor governance
• Provide production support to the following business MSS Trading and Operations for any queries regarding the trading platform (TradingApps / Global One)
• Leading the integration of external vendor feeds into front office trading platform (Trading apps Astec, S&P Global and Datalend)
• Responsibility for full regression testing of trading functionality (new enhancements and Fair Distribution Algorithm) as required for any platform upgrades
