Job description

A Fortune 500 US-based company is now seeking a Financial System Manager to join their Financial team in Asia Pacific in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities :

  • Managing and coordinating all activities for the APAC-wide financial systems
  • Functional System Support and Administration
  • System Project Analysis, Coordination & Implementations
  • Process Improvement & report creation and troubleshooting
  • End User Support, Issue Management & Training
  • SOX Security & Internal Control
  • Provide support for Production applications
  • ERP - Oracle PeopleSoft Financials (AR, AP, PO, AM, and GL)
  • EPM - Hyperion
  • Financial Systems - Trintech AssureNET, Billing & Banking software
  • Manage and maintain region-owned system processes including
  • ERP sub-ledgers and sub-modules
  • Reporting hierarchies for financial reporting
  • Scheduled processes complete accurately
  • Interfaces to the ERP and EPM systems
  • Review and enhance the financial and reporting system, policies and procedures
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc projects (following SDLC with IT teams) or duties as assigned
  • Staff and Team Management including work priorities and deadline management for the local team
  • Coordinate with peers and supervisor in other international regions to implement global, consistent best practices.

Requirements :

  • University degree in Finance, IT, Business Admin related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of financial systems support experience
  • Solid leadership experience in ERP / EPM system project implementation, change management and user support
  • Experience in providing PeopleSoft Financials functional support is must
  • Strong Knowledge of Hyperion applications ( Essbase and Planning)
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of MS Project and accounting knowledge a plus
  • Good command of spoken and written English, ability to answer queries from HQ and overseas offices
  • Strong communication, presentation skills and is a good team player
  • Good time management, detail oriented an ability to meet deadlines
