Key Responsibilities.

I. Design and Product Standards

  • Support the new-built hotels and to-be-renovated hotels are designed according to the Standards of Design of the RWHG, especially related to electronic systems.
  • Filing of the documents from Project Consultant and Contractors.
  • Assist to provide advice and comments on the drawings, specification, program and any technical related documents thru the design process.
  • Collaborates with different parties to update the design standards and new manuals with the electronic design best practice and state-of-the-art technology application.

II. Development

  • Assists in potential project technical reviews and PIP reporting with regards to electronic systems.
  • Assists in property takeover / conversion related due diligence activities, as applicable.

    • III. Pre / Post-opening Support

  • Assists in electronic systems testing and commissioning, snagging, plant room and system handover processes.
  • Assists hotel IT and engineering teams on new building technology, and their retrofit projects.

    • IV. General

  • Always keeps up to date with changing technology and design solutions, especially with regards to IT and Engineering.
  • Helps organize regional / corporate IT and engineering meetings and presents as necessary.

    • Critical Skills

  • Design concept of electronic systems, preferred in hospitality.
  • Good knowledge of Extra Low Voltage System (ELV) is preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Independent, mature, responsive, proactive, detail-minded, result-oriented and able to work under pressure.
  • Team player with good analytical, communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, or Computer Engineering is preferred.
  • Relevant design experience in Consultancy firm or System Integrator is preferred.
  • Experience in handling property development and / or hospitality fit out and construction projects is preferred.
  • Recent graduates are welcomed.
