This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and professional quality of legal documents across the firm's practice areas and offices. You will collaborate closely with solicitors, administrative teams, and translators to uphold the firm's high standards of written communication.
Key Responsibilities :
- Proofread legal documents for grammar, punctuation, and firm style
- Compare converted documents to originals for accuracy
- Perform cross-reference and formatting checks
- Use tools like Litera Compare and Track Changes for document comparisons
- Support translation and review of administrative materials
- Collaborate with legal and support departments to maintain document quality
Qualifications :
3+ years' experience in proofreading or document review, ideally in legal services / law firmsStrong command of English grammar and legal writing conventions is a mustProficiency in Microsoft Office and document comparison toolsWritten Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) is a plusExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsWillingness to work overtime when neededFamiliarity with legal terminology and document formats commonly used in law firmsInterested in this opportunity?
