Job descriptionLead a team of 3-4 people to oversee and manage financial reporting process on RBC basis ledger and return submission of HKIA in according with RBC basis requirements.Manage to deliver EBS and Pillar 3 returns under finance scope.Ensuring accounting and operation compliance with all statutory, regulatory and IFRS requirements.Support enhancement on submission mechanism on RBC operation.Conduct various financial analysis and reconciliation, address issues / queries raised by regulators, internal stakeholder and internal / external auditors.Deal with cross-function stakeholder throughout financial reporting process.Analyze downstream impact and adopt new or changes in regulatory reporting requirement from regulators, including leading the gap analysis, reviewing & providing feedback in consultation papers, coordinating the execution steps in implementing the changes.Liaise with external auditor for queries and requests related to IFRS and HKRBC audit.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.CPA qualification is a MUST.Minimum 5 years of progress experience in finance with at least 3 years in a managerial / supervision role and sizable insurance company.Strong knowledge of Statutory requirement (especially Risk based Capital reporting regime), IFRS and financial regulations for HK insurance company including regulatory filing package and tax rule.Solid experience on statutory reporting, IFRS reporting (include investment accounting) is preferred.Attention to details, able to work under pressure, think and work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.Solid experience on people management is highly preferred.
