Job

Undertake a broad portfolio of radiotherapy procedures in the delivery of care for radiotherapy patients. Be an integral member of the radiotherapy team to ensure the delivery of high quality clinical care.

Requirements

1.A degree in Radiography (Therapy) from a local university or equivalent.

2.A Certificate of Registration (Category T) (Part I or II) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Radiographers Board, Hong Kong.

Remarks

For Serving HA staff

1.The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for a period of 1 - 3 years depending on his / her existing employment terms. Serving permanent employee will be offered a fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his / her former substantive rank. Serving contract employee will be offered contract employment with an up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.

2.The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-flexi Allowance or Monthly Allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package / employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies.

For External applicants

3.Appointment will be on contract terms for a period of 1 – 3 years.Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.

For All applicants

4.Applicants who are expected to :

a)graduate from the degree in Radiography (Therapy) from a local university (or equivalent)

on or before 31 March 2024 and

b)obtain Certificate of Registration (Category T) (Part I or II) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Radiographers Board, Hong Kong on or before 31 March 2024

may also apply. If selected, their appointment will be subject to their having satisfied all the appointment requirements.

5.Please attach all clinical placement results and final year transcript in the online application.For graduates whose final year transcripts are not available, please attach school examination results of all school years currently available for reference.

6.Appointed candidates may be required to work shifts and irregular hours as well as to perform on-call duties.

7.Selected applicants will be subject to central posting and may be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
